Federal law requires the use of a Buyer's Guide with exact language and form as presented by OADA's Buyer's Guide. The Federal Trade Commission Regulations under the "Used Car Rule" require in the sale of a used vehicle that the dealer must display a "Buyer's Guide" on all used vehicles offered for sale, and provide a copy of the "Buyer's Guide" to the customer at the conclusion of the sale.
