Oregon Law - ORS 30.135 provides that a person (dealer) that lends, rents, donates or makes available for a test drive or otherwise provides a motor vehicle to another person is not liable for injury, death or damage that arises out of the use of that motor vehicle by the other person if there is a written agreement between the parties to that effect. 

OADA-17-2 complies with ORS 30.135 and shifts liability from your dealership to the person borrowing or test driving your vehicle.
