In November 2009, the Federal Trade Commission adopted a Model Privacy Notice for compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. The standardized form, if used and delivered by your dealership, provides safe harbor for compliance for your dealership. These forms need to be custom made for your dealerships depending on your dealership's practices, as there are four (4) variations of the form.
